Ensenada is located 134km south of San Diego and 109km south of Tijuana. It is the third largest city in BajaCaliforniaand boasts a protected harbor and modern port facilities, making it Baja California's leading seaport.

Known as the “Cinderalla of the Pacific”, this attractive town delights you with its cantinas, mariachi bands, and shops bursting with colorful Mexican blankets, native handicrafts, and enormous sombreros. In the shops of Avenida Lopez Mateos, there are excellent buys on silver jewellery, decorative masks, pottery and leather clothing. Ensenada also offers the best beaches and water sports on the Baja Peninsula. You can enjoy fishing, sailing, snorkelling, horseback riding and most popular of all sports, sunbathing. Local sightseeing attractions include La Bufadora, a spectacular sea geyser 50 feet high and Bodega Santo Tomas, a popular local winery.
