Yangjiang, China

Yangjiang is a prefecture-level city in southwestern Guangdong province, People's Republic of China. It borders Maoming to the west, Yunfu to the north, Jiangmen to the east, and looks out to the South China Sea to the south. It is famous for being the base of Yangjiang Shibazi, a knife manufacturer. It is also gateway to Hailing Island (3 hrs).

A popular attraction is Lingxiao Rock, with its majestic rocks and imposing manner. It is reputed to be the most magnificent in all of South China. As a national geological park and base for science education, the scenic spot is a famous attraction characterized by superb karst landform. It is located to the northwest of Yangchun City, about 66 kilometers (41 miles) from proper district.

Travel Links – Yangjiang has a fine transport network. It is ten minutes' drive to the airport and a bit more than an hour from the railway station in Yangchun City. Yangjiang Heshan Airport stands in Heshan Town, 17 kilometers (11 miles) from the Yangdong County. Currently, the airport only operates flight routes to Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
