Germersheim, Germany

Germersheim is a town in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate, of around 20,000 inhabitants. It is also the seat of the Germersheim district.

Located on the Western Bank of the Rhein River. The most southerly region in the state of Rhineland-Palatiante it is flat following the path of the Rhine, this region is filled with lakes and channels and has the river Lauter running along its southern border, dividing it from France.
