Galoa Island, Fiji

Galoa Island is a tiny remote island in the northern region of the Fijian islands. It is located in the South Pacific ocean, just off the north coast of Vanua Levu and is part of the Kadavu group of islands.

When visitors arrive at Galoa there is a very simple traditional Kava ceremony in the community hall to welcome guests. Afterwards visitors are taken around the village of Galoa and introduced to villagers, shown the school, the gardens and the Churches. This tour includes the beautiful and sometimes rugged coastline bordering Galoa. During the tour you will pass the famous and historic Galoa burial ground and see some magnificient beaches.
