Kea Island, Greece

Kea Island is the most northerly island of the Cyclades and the closest island to Attica.

The main settlements on the island are the port of Korissia and the attractive capital, Ioulida, which is situated about 5km inland.

A charming little paradise known for its history, crystal beach waters. It is a hikers paradise taking you through a variety of landscapes, remote caves and ancient cities. For those who like the more relaxed approach there are taverns and cafes located Ioulida.

There are many sandy beaches on Kea with watersports readily available.

The island can be reached only by ferry from the port of Lavrion, on the southernmost spot of Attica.
