Bahia Gardner, Galapagos Islands

Bahia Gardner is a located on the northeastern part of Espanola island, the oldest of the Galapagos Islands. Here there is a long, white sandy beach, colonies of sea lions, sea turtles swim offshore and inquisitive mocking birds. The beach is great to explore and view land iguanas.

Snorkeling at Gardner Bay is a great attraction, with the chance to swim with the Sea Lions and schools of large colorful tropical fish, Manta Rays and white-tipped sharks.

Port Location – The main port of the Galpagos islands is Puerto Ayora, on the island of Santa Cruz.

Transport Links – Flights to the Galapagos are relatively easy to arrange and depart from Quito and Guayaquil on a daily basis for the Isla Baltra airport. It is about two hours by public transport from Puerto Ayora, the main settlement of the Galapagos, on the central island of Santa Cruz. There are also daily flights to San Cristóbal. The airport is a 20 minute walk from the center of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. Both Aerogal and Tame have flights to the Galapagos

Boat tours can also be arranged from Guayaquil, Quito, and even from Puerto Ayora.
