Aneityum, Vanuatu

Aneityum island (also known as Anatom or Kéamu) is the southernmost inhabited island of Vanuatu. It is in the province of Tafea. The largest village is Anelghowhat (correctly, Anelcauhat). The island is surrounded by coral reefs and beautiful white sand beaches.

Aneityum has an ideal climate for bushwalking. There are over 84 varieties of orchid to see on the island, waterfalls and hot springs to visit. Opportunities for snorkelling abound with dazzling coral and abundance of tropical fish.
