Ullapool is a small town in Ross and Cromarty, Highland, Scotland. The harbour is the centre of the town, used as a fishing port, yachting haven and ferry port with boats to Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides. The town also boasts a small museum, an arts centre, a swimming pool and plenty of pubs, and is a centre for walkers and other holidaymakers in the area. Ullapool has a strong reputation as a centre of music and performance.

The village is the ideal base for those who wish to explore the real Highlands of Scotland. Ullapool is only a one hour drive north-west from Inverness, but is in the centre of an area described as one of the last wildernesses and unspoiled environments in Europe.
