Puka Rua is an atoll located on the outer fringes of the French Polynesian, Tuamotu Archipelago. The archipelago comprises 78 coral atolls, scattered over several hundred miles of the eastern Pacific Ocean.

Puka Rua has beautiful beaches and a large lagoon, which is great for snorkeling. There is a small village on the island where the inhabitants make a living selling Copra. Attractions include a vanilla plantation visit.
